§ Mrs. RumboldThe School Examinations and Assessment Council already works with examining bodies, through formal scrutinies, conferences of chief examiners, and other means, to secure the greatest possible consistency in standards of awarding grades. My right hon. Friend has no plans to promote additional action to that end.
