To ask the Secretary of State for Employment how many registered disabled unemployed have used the services of the Bolton job club during each of the last three years; and how many have been successful in obtaining employment with this assistance.

During the past three years a total of 14 registered disabled people have used the services of Bolton job clubs. Of these, 10 people left to start a job and one person went on to employment training.

For each of the past three years the breakdown is:

Registered disabled people leaving to start Employment Training 1

In the same period a further 24 people with health problems who were not registered as disabled used the services of Bolton job clubs. Of these, 12 people left to start a job and three people went on to employment training, further education or the enterprise allowance scheme.
