HC Deb 21 February 1990 vol 167 c843W
Mr. Moss

To ask the Secretary of State for Health whether any changes will be made in the cash limits and running costs limit of his Department for 1989–90.

Mrs. Virginia Bottomley

[pursuant to her reply, 29 January 1990, c. 42–43]: Subject to parliamentary approval of the necessary revised supplementary estimate, the cash limit for class XIV, vote 3, Department of Health, administration, miscellaneous health services and personal social services, England, will be increased by £87,000 (from £697,307,000 to £697,394,000) reflecting a transfer from class XV, vote 7, Department of Social Security, administration and miscellaneous services as a contribution to the cost of grants to voluntary organisations and local authorities towards the cost of providing temporary accommodation for homeless people during periods of severe weather. The running cost limit for the Department remains unchanged at £244,259,000.
