§ Mr. Alan HowarthThe National Curriculum Science Order requires that pupils should study the risks of solvent abuse and how it affects body processes. The Department will be supporting LEA expenditure of up to £7 million in 1990–91 on preventive health education, including education about solvent abuse. The Department has also contributed funding towards the production by Re-Solv of a video on solvent abuse for use in schools.
