To ask the Secretary of State for Health if it is the practice for health authority managers to be paid performance-related bonus, following revenue-saving unit closures.

The assessment for performance-related pay will take account of all the objectives set for the manager concerned. improving the use of an authority's resources or developing new patterns of service.
