To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will make it his policy to publish the prison department's report into the serious disturbance in January at Her Majesty's prison, Blundeston.

As indicated in the reply which I gave to a question by my hon. Friend on 18 January at columns378–79, the regional director for the south-east region of the prison service is examining the cause of this demonstration. It is not the practice to publish internal management documents but I shall write to my hon. Friend when the regional director's report has been received and considered.
