§ Mr. BlunkettTo ask the Secretary of State for Health, pursuant to his answer of 9 February,Official Report, column 805, if he will arrange for the Medical Research 459W Council to undertake research concerning the relationship between the development of chronic bronchitis or emphysema and exposure to substances associated with the processing, smelting, working or production of steel.
§ Mr. FreemanThe Department of Health has no plans to ask the Medical Research Council to undertake such research at present.
