To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry what representations he has received concerning timeshare promotion schemes of Reeve Leisure Ltd., of Kings avenue, New Malden; and what action he proposes to take.

I have received a number of complaints about the promotional activities of Reeve Leisure Ltd. as well as complaints about other timeshare companies. My hon. Friend will be aware that I asked the Director General of Fair Trading in June 1989 to undertake a review of the whole range of timeshare problems and to let me have his recommendations in the early part of this year.
