§ Mr. PortilloPrivatisation of all 72 subsidiaries of the National Bus Company was completed in April 1988. Eight local authority bus companies have also been privatised and other sales are in the pipeline. Privatisation of the Scottish Bus Group is to begin shortly. I intend that privatisation should also occur in London.
