§ Mr. LuceThe Arts Council is assessing the implications of the uniform business rate on performing arts organisations, and I have asked it to keep me informed. There are no immediate implications for the national museums and galleries, since (except for the national museums and galleries on Merseyside) they do not at present pay rates. I am keeping the situation under review.
