To ask the Secretary of State for Transport if he has met the chairman of the Airline Users Committee to discuss its annual report; and if he will make a statement.

My right hon. Friend met the chairman and director general of the committee on 26 September 1989 before publication of the report. I shall be meeting the committee again on 14 February to discuss matters of mutual interest.
