To ask the Secretary of State for Energy if he will publish a table showing how prices for petrol and diesel have changed during the last 10 years.

Prices of petrol and diesel (derv) from 1972 are published in table 66 of the "Digest of United Kingdom Energy Statistics 1989". The latest monthly prices are published in "Energy Trends" (table 21).
