A sight test volume survey is being conducted by NOP Market Research Limited as part of its regular omnibus survey. The field work will be carried out between mid-March and mid-April. It will involve a random sample of 10,000 adults being asked the following questions

  • "i. Have you had your sight tested at an opticians—not at a hospital or at your doctors—since Christmas? and if yes,
  • ii. Was it an NHS sight test or did you pay for a private sight test?"
