To ask the Minister for the Arts what discussions he had with the chairman of English National Ballet prior to the termination of the contracts of Mr. Peter Shanfriss and Mr. Steven Scott.

I have had no such discussions. This is entirely a matter for the board of governors of the English National Ballet.
