To ask the Secretary of State for Employment if he has any plans to relaunch Employment training.

My Department has no such plans.

To ask the Secretary of State for Employment if he will list all training enterprises and schemes which have been introduced since 1979.

The training programmes and schemes introduced by my Department since 1979 are as follows:

  • Training Opportunities Scheme.
  • Open Tech.
  • National Priority Skills Scheme.
  • Youth Training Scheme.
  • Technical and Vocational Education Initiative.
  • Local Collaborative Projects.
