To ask the Prime Minister to which Commonwealth countries the United Kingdom Government have made representations of concern about the abuse of human rights since 1979.

§ The Prime Minister
Where Commonwealth countries' practice on human rights has given cause for concern, we have made representations as necessary. These representations are sometimes more productive if undertaken without publicity. It would not, therefore, be helpful to list the countries concerned.
