§ Mr. TrippierA number of technical solutions are available to reduce or eliminate the hazard resulting from the escape of landfill gas, which contains methane, from landfill sites containing domestic waste. Guidance on these measures is given in the Department's waste management paper No. 27—"Control of Landfill Gas".
