§ Mr. SainsburyThe GATT negotiations are continuing in Brussels this week. It is a high priority for the Government to reduce barriers to Community textiles exports in overseas markets. Some countries, such as Canada, South Africa and Thailand, have offered to reduce their textiles tariffs. The Community is pressing all participants to improve their offers on textiles as part of the overall market access negotiations.
