To ask the Secretary of State for Defence if he will now review his policy on compensation to service personnel who are suffering health problems as a result of their involvement in British nuclear tests.

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence if, pursuant to the reply to the hon. Member for Leyton (Mr. Cohen) on 20 November,Official Report, column 79, he will set out the number of military and scientific staff sent to the United States of America to supervise and monitor the test; and if he will indicate to which Government data on the test will be made available, and under what conditions.

It is not the practice to give details of United Kingdom personnel who attend such tests. Data from the test is made available to the United States under the terms of the 1958 United States-United Kingdom agreement for mutual co-operation for defence purposes.
