§ Miss HoeyTo ask the Secretary of State for Education and Science how much(a) Government money, (b) money from sponsors and (c) capital from Wandsworth council will be put into the Battersea Park voluntary-aided city technology college.
§ Mr. EggarMy right hon. and learned Friend is aware of the very interesting proposal from Wandsworth for a voluntary-aided school with the characteristics of a city technology college. If confirmed by the council, this would come to him for decision under sections 12 and 13 of the 1980 Education Act, and would be considered on its merits. He would also need to consider any application for Government funding which might come from the LEA and the promoters of the proposal.
