§ Mr. MichaelTo ask the Secretary of State for Wales (1) what steps he has taken to seek the views of community health councils in Wales on the place of voluntary fund-raising in the financial structure of the National Health Service in their areas; and what views have been expressed to him;
(2) what research he has commissioned on the views of (a) patients and (b) carers and families of patients on the degree to which the National Health Service in each health authority district in Wales should be financed by voluntary and charitable donations.
