Member for Moray of 27 February,Official Report, column 111, he will list in the Official Report what further medical supplies, food, clothes and other non-financial aid Her Majesty's Government have provided to Romania.
§ Mrs. Chalker[holding answer 18 April 1990]: I have been asked to reply.
Since my hon. Friend's answer on 27 February, column 111, we have donated AIDS testing equipment, provided small contributions to British charities caring for Romanian children and, as I announced on 5 April, column 734, £500,000 to the World Health Organisations programme for the Romanian health service. We have also donated 118 tonnes of paper (worth £100,000) for the use of Romanian political parties during the election campaign.
