To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what was the total amount of money paid in grants by the various departments of the Northern Ireland Department of Environment to the quarrying, sand and gravel industries during the period the grant was available; and what was the breakdown of payments in the Mid-Ulster constituency.

The Department of the Environment has paid no grants to companies in these sectors. During the past five financial years grants paid to the quarrying, sand and gravel industries in Northern Ireland by the Department of Economic Development were as follows:
