To ask the Minister for the Civil Service how many Civil Service appointments have been made since 1979 under section 5(2) of the Race Relations Act 1976; and how many posts within the Civil Service are designated under section 5(2) of the Act.

No appointments to the Civil Service have been made under section 5(2) of the Race Relations Act 1976; there are no posts within the Civil Service designated under section 5(2) of the Act.
