To ask the Prime Minister if she has received recent representations regarding housing policy.

The Prime Minister

Many representations are received on housing policy. The Government's policies have encouraged the spread of owner-occupation which has increased by 3,600,000 homes since 1979, an increase in the total housing stock of nearly 2 million since 1979 and the highest number of private housing starts since 1972.
