To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs when he last met the Government of El Salvador to discuss the human rights situation in that country.

My right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs has not yet had the opportunity to meet members of the Government of El Salvador.

Human rights in El Salvador was among the subjects I discussed with the Salvadorean Foreign Minister, Dr. Manuel Pacas, on 26 September.
