§ Mr. WaldegraveWe have consistently condemned violations of human rights in Iran. We continue to be disturbed by reports of summary executions there. We therefore welcome the decision of the Iranian authorities to accept a visit by the United Nations special representative on human rights in Iran and urge them to co-operate fully with his investigations.
