§ Mr. Wyn RobertsThe Department launched a five-year strategy to develop information technology across the curriculum in 1988–89. Funding within the education support grant programme provides increased equipment levels and an advisory teacher service in schools. The Department is currently considering ways to focus the programme to support the implementation of technology as a subject in the national curriculum.
