§ Mr. Douglas HoggI understand from the commissioner that although the car pound at Calthorpe street WCI has not yet been used to full capacity it is regarded as an important acquisition, allowing the Metropolitan police scope for expansion of their removal operations and providing additional space which may be required in the event of closure of other car pounds.
