To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment how much has been spent by his Department on advertisements on commercial television in each of the last five years, listed by each television company.

The decision by the High Court relates solely to the leaflet produced by the Department of the Environemnt entitled "The Community Charge (the so-called Poll Tax) How It Will Work For You".

The bilingual leaflet "Your Guide to the Community Charge", which is being distributed in Wales, is separate and different. I have no plans to halt its distribution.
