§ Mr. Michael ForsythDetails of contributions and receipts in 1988–89 will be presented to Parliament later this year in the appropriation accounts for expenditure class XVI relating to agricultural support for which the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries for Scotland has responsibility. Provisional outturn figures for the year are set out in the table. To these amounts should be added the Scottish share of market support expenditure incurred by the Intervention Board for Agricultural Produce which in the United Kingdom in 1988–89 is currently estimated to be £984 million.
