To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will estimate the total value of North sea oil revenue from 1979 to the current date.

§ Mr. Lilley
The estimate of the value of North sea oil and gas revenues in fiscal years 1979–80 to 1988–89 is £69 billion.
