§ Mr. FreemanThe most recent efficiency study was undertaken in 1984. A number of recommendations concerning improvements in the board's organisation and procedures were made and implemented. In line with other health service bodies the board is subject to the annual accountability review arrangements. A comprehensive review of the board's role and function is planned for later this year.
