Mr. Gordon Brown

To ask the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster if he will provide figures for spending on(a) regional selective assistance and (b) regional development grant for (i) Scotland, (ii) England, (iii) Wales and (iv) Northern Ireland for each year from 1978–79 to 1989–90 in cash and at 1987–88 prices.
