§ Mr. Michael ForsythMy right hon. and learned Friend has allocated £148.8 million to health boards to meet their gross capital expenditure commitments on hospital and community health services in 1989–90. This includes £35.7 million specifically for the improvement and upgrading of the NHS estate.
The allocations to individual health boards are as follows:
