§ Mr. Barry FieldTo ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will make a statement on the recommendation contained in the recent report from the Home Affairs Select Committee on the forensic science service that his Department should work with the Departments of Health and Education and Science to secure the long-term future of the forensic pathology profession.
§ Mr. Douglas HoggWe shall be dealing with this recommendation, together with the others made by the Select Committee on Home Affairs in their report on the forensic science service, in the response which we shall be making to the recommendations of the report.
