(2) if he will introduce legislation to define the duties of operators of offshore installations to employ medically qualified personnel; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. Peter MorrisonThe Offshore Installations (Occupational Safety, Health and Welfare) Regulations 1976 require the provision of specified medical stores and medically trained persons on offshore installations. These regulations are kept under continuous review to ensure that they are properly up to-date. My inspectors enforce the requirements of these regulations during offshore inspections.
