To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland (1) what figures are available to indicate or estimate the number of graduates domiciled in Northern Ireland who earn less than 85 per cent. of national average income at intervals of(a) five years and (b) 10 years after graduation;

(2) what figures are available to indicate the number of graduates domiciled in Northern Ireland who earn more than 115 per cent. of national average income at intervals of (a) five years and (b) 10 years after graduation.

To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what figures are available to indicate the numbers of graduates employed in the public sector in Northern Ireland, their distribution among grading levels and the salaries applying to these grades.

The information requested with regard to graduates employed in the public sector in Northen Ireland is not readily available centrally and could be obtained only at disproportionate cost. However, the number of graduates employed in the NICS, their distribution among grading levels and the salaries applying to these grades are as follows.
