§ Mr. WheelerTo ask the Secretary of State for Transport if he can now announce the terms on which Dr. Tony Ridley resigned from London Regional Transport.
§ Mr. PortilloLondon Regional Transport will pay to Dr. Ridley a sum equivalent to six months' pay in lieu of the notice provided for under the terms of his appointment, that is £30,000. LRT will pay sums to make up the difference between the immediate reduced pension which Dr. Ridley had already earned on 10 November 1988, and the actuarially reduced pension which would have been payable to him on retirement at the end of his appointment on 31 August 1991.
