§ Dr. ReidTo ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (1) if he will list which of the 17 measures referred to by him in theOfficial Report, at column 933, on 21 February, are new measures to be enacted and which of them are within existing legislation;
(2) if he will give the dates and circumstances when any of the 17 measures referred to by him on 21 February, Official Report, column 933, have been used to deal with salmonella enteritidis.
§ Mr. Donald ThompsonI refer the hon. Member to the reply which I gave to the hon. Member for South Shields (Dr. Clark) on Friday 3 March at columns373–74. All 17 measures, many of which are already in operation, are intended to contribute actively to combating salmonella enteritidis.
