§ Mr. AtkinsThe regional enterprise grants scheme commenced on 1 April 1988 and by 28 February 1989, a total of 2,197 applications had been received from businesses in Great Britain. Grant worth a total of £9.3 million has been offered in 1,102 of these cases.
