§ Mr. MaudeThe Single European Act has had an impact on many areas of my Department's work. All new and existing departmental policies and initiatives take our obligations arising from the Act into account. In particular our "Europe—Open for Business" campaign is designed to alert business to the need to prepare actively for the completion of the single European market.
