§ Lord James Douglas-HamiltonMy right hon. and learned Friend has received the proposals of both the Keep Sunday Special campaign and the Shopping Hours Reform Council. He has no plans to implement the proposals of the Keep Sunday Special campaign which would impose new restrictions on Sunday trading in Scotland. The proposals of the Shopping Hours Reform Council on Sunday trading are not intended to extend to Scotland. He has, therefore, made no analysis of the economic consequences of implementing the proposals.
