§ Mr. Wyn RobertsSelective improvements of the A458/A483/A489/A470/A44 route are planned, and shown in "Roads in Wales 1989". The "National Traffic Forecasts (Great Britain) 1989" published on 18 May covers this route; a major traffic survey has recently been carried out by the Department on the A483 north of Newtown.
