To ask the Secretary of State for Social Security whether the conversion of the Odeon site into a social security office in Southwark is on target for completion in February 1991.

Present indications are that the completion on conversion work at the Odeon site will extend beyond March 1991. In the meantime preparations are being made for the implementation of the operational strategy and other service improvements, arising from the relocation of backroom work, in the existing Camberwell office. Similar improvements are planned for the Peckham office on completion of the move to the Odeon site.
