§ Mr. Cohen

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence (1) if he will make sure that there are no obstructions along the route of the public highway known as the Portway at RAF Upper Heyford;

(2) if, in the light of the recent cases regarding the highway known as the Portway at RAF Upper Heyford and the challenges over his Department's use of land at RAF Greenham Common, he will review his Department's policies regarding acquisition and use of military lands;

(3) in which year the land, over which the highway known as the Portway at RAF Upper Heyford runs, was acquired by his Department; and in which year this land was closed off by fencing;

(4) what steps he will take to ensure public right of access to the highway known as the Portway at RAF Upper Heyford.
