Mr. Boswell

To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will list the number of disconnections for non-payment in the year to April 1989 for each of the water authorities and statutory water companies in England and Wales.

The information requested by my hon. Friend regarding the English water authorities and statutory water companies is contained in the following table. Any request for information on the Welsh water authority, the Chester waterworks company and the Wrexham and East Denbighshire water company should be addressed to my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Wales.
