§ The Prime MinisterIt has long been our policy to welcome debt for nature swaps agreed voluntarily between commercial banks, conservation organisations and debtors. The United Kingdom has taken the lead in forgiving ODA debt and had now cancelled nearly £1 billion worth of such debts worldwide.
