To ask the Secretary of State for Employment if he will make a statement on the future of the construction industry training board.

I refer the hon. Member to the reply I gave on 14 February to my hon. Friend the Member for Rutland and Melton (Mr. Latham) at column153. Consultations with the board and organisations representing employers are almost complete. I expect to be in a position to make a decision shortly.
