§ Mr. Tony Lloyd
To ask the Secretary of State for Employment which of those local authorities listed as participating in employment training,Official Report, 27 February, columns 34–38 as training managers and training agents have now withdrawn from the scheme.

§ Mr. Nicholls
The following local authorities participating in employment training as training managers have now withdrawn from the scheme:

Barrow borough council

London borough of Barnet

London borough of Merton

Nottinghamshire county council

Rochdale Metropolitan borough council.

Wolverhampton metropolitan borough council will not be renewing their existing contract at the end of August 1989. Similar action is expected from Leicester city council and Cleveland county council.
